In addition to performing murder mystery shows and game shows, Riddlesbrood also offers a wide variety of other services such as themed walkabout and strolling characters.  Dressed for whatever occasion or motif, our characters epitomize the Old West, spooky scenarios, Victorian types, medieval knights and ladies, denizens of the Arabian nights and more. The actors actively mingle with your guests in character with all the appropriate accents and mannerisms. In addition to providing these great characters, we also provide singing minstrels, face painters, balloon animal makers, stilt walkers and other characters you desire. In addition to performing at trade shows, parades, and outdoor fairs, our characters also entertain guests at banquets, corporate events, and holiday events.

Walkabout and Activity Characters

Walkabout Characters

A walkabout character is an actor dressed in a costume of your choice that walks around and mingles with event attendees. Ours actors use appropriate accents and adopt any backstory you want. Ours customers typically use this service to attract attention to a booth at a trade show and add more entertainment to a banquet or party. Actors are also used to add value to another event (having strolling characters before an actual show for instance). 

 

Activity Character

An activity character is similar to a walkabout character, but they have an interactive gimmick that they employ. Activities range from stilt walking, instrument playing, face painting and balloon-animal making. Our characters can also be used for outdoor lawn and pool games. Activity Characters are recommended for outdoor activities and large venues where only a small amount of people will be able to hear or see the character at a time. Examples of venues include trade shows, fundraisers, art shows, parades and large parties.

After the curtain falls, don’t let the night end—keep the energy high with DJ Lite, our budget-friendly music service that extends the fun for another 2-3 hours of dancing! We’ll spin a mix of the latest hits and crowd favorites to keep your guests moving. Want something special? Request songs before the show, and we’ll do our best to include them. While we’re not professional wedding DJs, we offer a simple, no-frills solution to keep the celebration going at an unbeatable price. Whether it's a lively party vibe or a casual dance floor, DJ Lite delivers just enough to keep the fun alive without breaking the bank. Great music, great price—let’s keep the night rolling! $100 for 2 hours after the show  $50/hour after.
